FAQs about Tickets, T-Shirts and More
Q: Why do you sell a limited number of tickets?
A: The restaurants supplying the soup for the event do so at their own expense, and 15+ gallons of soup can be very costly and time consuming! In order to minimize the burden of participating restaurants and increase the likelihood that soup will be available until the end of the tour, we limit the number of tickets sold to 1,200.
Q: Is there a limit to the number of tickets I may purchase?
A: Yes. This year we are again limiting the number of tickets an individual may purchase to four. We believe that our policy gives more people an opportunity to purchase tickets and experience the Contest.
Q: If we purchase a ticket, do we HAVE to bring a canned good?
A: We're not going to hold a spoon to your head and make you bring non-perishable food items. However, your donations are just as important as our ticket sales. By donating, you will help to fill the table of a family in need while warming your heart in the process. It's a win-win!
Q: What do you mean the event is sold out!? It's only 12:15pm (or earlier)!
A: As the Contest gains popularity, tickets sell out faster. Unfortunately, we have no control over how quickly they sell out. Our best advice is to be ready at noon when tickets go on sale. If you’re able to splurge, consider purchasing VIP tickets. You’ll receive valet parking, a pre-event champagne reception, the opportunity to meet-and-greet with Rick Sebak, a swag bag full of goodies, an event t-shirt, a special sampling of exclusive VIP soups, and private VIP stops along the tour.
Q: "I heard...!!"
A: Unless it came directly from us, it's probably not true. If you do have questions, please do not hesitate to ask on our Facebook page or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
