become a restaurant or host location

Interested in joining the Contest as a restaurant or host location? Then you’ve come to the right place! For one afternoon, we partner with numerous South Side-based restaurants and businesses (host locations) for a three-hour adventure of soup tasting and neighborhood exploring! It’s a chance to introduce your business to residents and visitors who may not be familiar with what you have to offer. It’s an opportunity to showcase what you do best, while giving back to your South Side neighbors and supporting South Side organizations. It’s a great way to widen exposure to your business, meet and greet new customers, and encourage them to come back for more. 

By participating as a restaurant, you’ll have a chance to compete for People’s Choice of Best Soup (and Runner Up), Best Vegetarian (Veggie), and Most Unique. By participating as a host location, you’ll be paired with one of our participating restaurants, and have the chance to compete for Best Host Location (and Runner Up). 

Note: Restaurants must be located or have a presence in the South Side. All host locations must be located in South Side.
